Impartición de una asignatura de Salud Laboral en una escuela universitaria de enfermería

[ES] Introducción: Durante el curso 2006 / 2007 se introdujo en la Escuela Universitaria de Enfermería, Fisioterapia y Podología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, la "Salud Laboral" como Libre Configuración. Objetivos: Exponer la experiencia personal y transmitir la opinión de los alumnos. Material y método: Se impartió durante el primer cuatrimestre 3 horas semanales, dividiéndose en dos bloques: Prevención de Riesgos Laborales y Riesgos del Personal Sanitario y colaborando profesionales de Medicina del Trabajo y Enfermería de Empresa. Se realizó una encuesta al principio y otra al finalizar. Resultados: Los alumnos matriculados procedían mayoritariamente de la Diplomatura de Enfermería, la asistencia media fue 30 alumnos. El 64% no había planteado dedicarse profesionalmente a la Salud Laboral. Al finalizar, el 50% se planteaba dedicarse profesionalmente a este campo. El 100% recomendaría la asignatura y el 75% valoró los conocimientos aportados como útiles o muy útiles. Para el 77,5% la "Salud Laboral" debería formar parte de los Planes de Estudio en Carreras de Ciencias de la Salud. Conclusiones: Se valoró positivamente el haber cursado la asignatura, los temas expuestos despertaron el interés, existe, un desconocimiento sobre "Salud Laboral" y es necesario, impulsar, el acceso a estos conocimientos..[EN] Introduction: During 2006 / 07 the subject "Occupational Health" has been introduced in "Escuela Universitaria de Enfermería Fisioterapia y Podología" of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, as an optional subject. Aims: To Show my personal experience and to transmit the student opinion. Material and methods: During the first period of four months the subject "Occupational Health" was teached for three hours per week in two parts: 'Occupational Risk Prevention' and 'Sanitary Personnel Risk'. An inquiry was distributed at the beginning and another one at the end of course. Results: The majority of the students were studying the Nursing Diplomature. The average presence was about 30 students. The 64% of the students never had thought to work in Occupational Health before the course, but and the end, the 50% of the students considered the possibility of working in this area. The totality of the students would recommended the subject and the 75 % consider the received knowledge useful or very useful. The 77,5% thought that "Occupational Health" subject must be teached in Health Sciences Studies. Conclusions: The subject was valued as positive from students, the program of the subject was interesting for the students, exist a general ignorance about Occupational Health and it is necessary to improve the access to this knowledge.
