Recommendations for follow-up of colorectal cancer survivors. Clin Transl Oncol. 2019 Oct;21(10):1302-11. Nevertheless, the advances in prevention and treatment have contributed to an increased number of patients who survive for prolonged periods of time. In addition, despite recurrences, improved survival following metastasis resection is likewise on the rise. This underscores the importance of carrying out follow-up programmes even in low-risk patients for the early detection of recurrence. The main objective of this article is to provide a set of recommendations for optimising the follow-up of CRC survivors as well as for managing the sequelae that result from either pharmacological or surgical treatment.enghttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Cancer survivorsTreatment sequelaeQuality of lifeSurveillanceMonitoringCare coordinationColonoscopyHumansOxaliplatinAntineoplastic AgentsColonic NeoplasmsContinuity of Patient CareNeoplasm StagingPopulation SurveillanceLiver NeoplasmsMaleCarcinoembryonic AntigenNeoplasm Recurrence, LocalTime FactorsRadiotherapyLung NeoplasmsPatient Care TeamFemaleSexual Dysfunction, PhysiologicalCancer SurvivorsPostoperative ComplicationsRectal NeoplasmsPrimary PreventionSecondary PreventionRecommendations for follow-up of colorectal cancer survivorsresearch articleAttribution 4.0 International3076220621101302-131110.1007/s12094-019-02059-11699-3055Clinical & Translational Oncologyopen accessComplicaciones PosoperatoriasSupervivientes de CáncerFactores de TiempoFemeninoNeoplasias HepáticasEstadificación de NeoplasiasNeoplasias PulmonaresRecurrencia Local de NeoplasiaAntígeno CarcinoembrionarioMasculinoContinuidad de la Atención al PacienteColonoscopía:Neoplasias del ColonRadioterapiaPrevención SecundariaAntineoplásicosGrupo de Atención al PacienteDisfunciones Sexuales FisiológicasHumanosVigilancia de la PoblaciónPrevención PrimariaNeoplasias del RectoOxaliplatino2-s2.0-85061628879486535700002L626412990
